It was a fun runway show; well, any swimsuit runway show is fun! :-) As you can see, I am still struggling with lighting and camera, even after I threw in so much money (never enough, I guess) and time into it... It's definitely a journey (circular or not is another story...)

Wish I had the chance to capture this model with more pictures, or at least her name so that I can mention here. She had a certain look and confidence on the runway that commanded the lighting to be just right for her. She looks wonderful in these pictures!

At Water Fashion Runway
From time to time, I go to local runway fashion shows and be an honorary photographer. It's always fun and also constantly provides new challenges to me.
Throughout the shoots, I learned how to reign in the speed, aperture, metering, as well angles, in these extreme environments. It's dark, subject moves fast, and you are set a close range, on top of all these, you need to deal with manual mode...
I guess I love challenges! :-)

If you can sense Ashley's genuine sincerity from the pictures, then she is as much if not more in person. She just has that interpersonal connections that don't happen in every model nowadays...
Knowing Ashely more in person, and learned more about her life story, I can only say that she is one tough lady with a super soft experior. The things that she needs to deal with, and the world she deals in, are just incredible. Honestly, I am not sure I am as strong as she is in the same circumstances, and I am pretty tough inside...
She will always have my highest respect and I wish her all the greatest successes!! Keep up the good work Ashley!! :-)

Ashley Labady - 25Visuals Featured Model
Ashley Labady is a very special model, in many many way. Not only she has a gorgeous and glamorous exterior look with her super bright blonde hair, she is a humble, friendly, and just purely wonderful person inside.
When I first met her at HIN 2009 earlier in March, she was quite new to the car show modeling world. She not excels in modeling, she did it in such an accelerated pace that it's like watching an American Next Top Model's full season in just a few shows.
She has that beautiful appearance. However, she strikes me most is her friendliness and gentle personality. Her kind heart is so precious in this industry, that I can only everything great happening to her!!
There will be a lot more coming out, as I had the honor of working with her several times!! Stay tuned!! :-)
SpoCom - KT So, So Cute!!
KT is always cute! She talks with you like a good friend, and tell you about what's happening lately. It's always great to see her at the shows!

SpoCom - Shiny Leather Skirt
This model has changed quickly from the first time I saw her at HIN show at Anaheim, CA, in March this year (2009). Now she is truly a full model with the look, the outfit, and the attitude too. She was really popular and camera did not stop flashing on her. Very cool... Good luck!
